Biography

Nicholas "Nick" B. Uricchio is a third-generation attorney, following in the footsteps of his grandfather, the late Paul “Pope” Nicholas Uricchio Jr., and his father, the late Micheal A. Uricchio Sr. Nick grew up on James Island and Folly Beach in South Carolina. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Coastal Carolina University in 2011.

After graduation, Nick began his legal career as a runner and file clerk at Senn Legal, LLC. During this time, he realized his passion for the field of law. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the Charleston School of Law in 2016. While in law school, Nick was actively involved in the Student Bar Association as a Senator, consistently made the Dean's List, and received the Cali Award for his work in the International Law course. Additionally, he was a member of the Charleston School of Law's Trial Advocacy Team, where he competed in mock trial competitions nationwide, culminating in a victory at the 2016 Savannah Mock Trial Invitational. Nick achieved these accomplishments while working in local restaurants and at Senn Legal, LLC.

Upon graduating from law school, Nick served as a Deputy Clerk in the Charleston County Clerk of Court's Office, where he handled oaths for jury venires, swore in witnesses, and published verdicts. This experience gave him a close-up view of what it takes to succeed in the legal field.

In 2018, after being admitted to the South Carolina Bar Association, Nick was honored to serve as a Judicial Circuit Court Law Clerk to Retired South Carolina Circuit Court Judge R. Markley Dennis Jr.

In June 2019, Nick joined the Ninth Circuit Solicitor's Office in Charleston County as an Assistant Solicitor. In this role, he prosecuted cases from post-arrest through resolution, managing a caseload of over 500 warrants at any given time. He also contributed to the Charleston County Mental Health Court Team and oversaw expungements within the Ninth Circuit Solicitor's Office, further honing his skills in criminal law.

In May 2023, Nick joined Query, Sautter & Uricchio, LLC, where he focuses on helping clients with their civil and criminal legal needs.
